Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting “THE LAST SUPPER” is the inspiration for this live production to be presented at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church on Maundy Thursday, March 29th at 6PM.
The painting comes alive with the human emotions of Jesus and the twelve apostles as He announces His betrayal by one of the Twelve. It is a soul wrenching moment as each apostle questions his own relationship and asks “IS IT, I?”
This drama has passion and pageantry and is a fresh page in the celebration of the Easter season. The presentation will be interspersed with special music and promises to be a moving experience. At the conclusion, Communion will be served from the supper table by servers also in period costume.
The public is cordially invited to attend these free productions. A nursery will be provided.
There is no reserved seating.
