“I Pray…that CHRIST may dwell in your hearts through FAITH, As you are being rooted and grounded in LOVE.” Ephesians 3:17

We welcome you just as you are. Connect with Jesus, Grow your faith, Serve each other. God is living amongst us.

If you are looking for a church home, it takes a visit in person to see how the Holy Spirit works within us, touches our lives and the lives of others.  You are invited to join us in Worship, Bible Study, and Fellowship activities.

Our congregation has been walking with Christ for over 75 years! We welcome you to come along!

What is Gloria Dei’s style of worship?

We have multiple styles of worship!  From Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day weekend, our Worship Services are at 9am on Sundays.

We also offer a 6:00 p.m. service on Wednesdays throughout the year.

For the remainder of the year, we offer Traditional Lutheran worship at 8am and a contemporary service at 10:30am which is lead by our Praise Team.

Do you offer Sunday School for our family?

Yes!  Sunday School is held on the lower level from 9:15-10:15 a.m. for children from 3 years old through 6th grade. Older youth, young adults, and parents are invited to join the Adult Education class held during the Education Hour.

My kids might not be able to sit still during worship.

A Children’s Message is given before the sermon, and the children love participating in the offering by taking loose offerings to the Giving Jar.  We offer a nursery for your use from 9:00 a.m.  – 11:45 a.m. Sunday mornings during the school year.  We also have a Quiet Room in the back of the sanctuary.  Your children are welcome in worship!

Is your church handicap-accessible?

Yes!  From the parking spots near the doors of the church to the bathrooms, our church is wheel-chair friendly!  The elevator gives everyone access to the sanctuary and fellowship hall on the main level and the classrooms on the lower level.

Will anyone know my name?

Not to worry!  Name tags are encouraged.  They are available on the cart in the Narthex and we have blank name tags on which guests may write their name, so we may get to know you better.  Jesus knows us by name and we want to know each other by name too!

What should I know about Holy Communion?

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is offered the first and third Sundays of the month.  Grape juice is the clear liquid offered in the middle of the tray.  Gloria Dei practices open communion and all believers are welcome to the Lord’s Table.

“Peace be with you” is the greeting we share during our worship services.  May the peace that comes from knowing Jesus Christ, the peace that keeps our hearts and minds in Jesus Christ, be yours.

“Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.”  Romans 15:7
