Neighbor to Neighbor Food Pantry is our local food pantry. Gloria Dei supports their efforts with special food drives, collecting donations on a regular basis, and volunteers who work at the Food Pantry.
Members of Gloria Dei provide a weekly worship service for residents of this assisted living facility. It’s an opportunity to worship with Christians who aren’t able to get to their own congregation.
Community Table is a community effort to provide a healthy meal once a week for those who need the nourishment and fellowship. The Masonic Temple provides the facility and various community organizations provide the meal and the manpower on Mondays from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

This community-wide project is completed with several of the local Tomah churches working together to ring bells for the Salvation Army at local grocery stores.
Families First is a local non-profit organization that supports emergency needs of members in community. Gloria Dei supports this worthwhile organization with special offerings.
We often have wheelchairs or walkers to share with community members in need.
Dozens of families within Gloria Dei support children in other countries through Compassion International, “Releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name.” Visit their site to learn more at www.compassion.com
Second Harvest Mobile Foodpack is held the first Tuesday of the month. Neighbor for Neighbor Food Pantry coordinates volunteers for this monthly mission project. It is held in the Gold Building at the Fairgrounds. Please come at 3:30 p.m. and plan to help for about 2 hours.
As part of Gloria Dei’s mission statement to connect, grow, and serve, we believe that mission trips are a great way to experience serving others in Jesus’ name. Contact the church office for details. You do not have to be a member in order to join in one of our mission trips.
“It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:11-13
